Transportation Engineer
Job description
Summary: TCE is looking for a full-time transportation engineer. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Principal Engineer / Professional Traffic Operations Engineer on a variety of traffic and transportation projects and work closely with our civil engineering, environmental. surveying and design teams in all aspects of design and permitting for public and private sector projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis
- Traffic Impact Analysis and Reports
- Traffic Control Plans
- Scoping Studies
- Geometric Road Design
- Utility & Signal Design
- Mapping and/or drafting
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Adobe & Microsoft Office Suite
- Excels working in a team environment
- Ability to work in the field and in the office
- Self-motivated and critical thinker
- Attention to detail and ambition to learn new skills
- Proficient in GIS, preferred
- Proficient in CAD, required
- Experience with Synchro and HCS, preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
