TCE worked with the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) and the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) on a Park & Ride Scoping Study in Grand Isle County, Vermont beginning in 2016 and concluding in 2018. This project involved community outreach as well as the creation of a scoring matrix and project site evaluations.

We prepared GIS maps of potential projects sites that included a summary of data collected and pros and cons list for each site. All of the potential sites were summarized in an Overall Decision Matrix that scored sites based on feasibility, environmental constraints, availability, and cost. TCE developed a consistent scoring system for sites to allow for an accurate representation and comparison of each site.

TCE held two community outreach sessions in conjunction with NRPC and VTrans, which included live interactive surveys. We also gave presentations and held question and answer sessions with the NRPC Transportation Advisory Committee, the Vermont Agency of Transportation, and the Green Mountain Transit Authority (GMTA).
