Colen Johnson, P.E.

Colen is an Engineer and Project Manager, and provides support to all areas of the TCE engineering team.  He performs a variety of engineering tasks ranging from on-site wastewater design, construction engineering, water system design and permitting, stormwater design and permitting, traffic engineering, and culvert design.

Colen was born and raised in upstate South Carolina. After graduating from Clemson University he relocated to Miles City, Montana where he performed design, survey, construction administration, and construction inspection of large highway projects for the Montana Department of Transportation. In his free time, Colen enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, daughter, and two golden retrievers.

Colen is hard working and eager to take on new tasks and responsibilities. He embraces challenges and looks forward to continue honing his engineering skills as a member of the TCE team.

Milton Mobile Home Co-op, Milton VT

Colen has been involved in the design and permitting of a sewer and water infrastructure improvement project in the mobile home park.  This project includes new water and sewer infrastructure throughout the entire park.  Colen is involved in both the design of the project, rigorous local and state permitting including approvals from the VT ANR Water Investment Division, and construction bid services.

Twin Farms Resort, Barnard, VT

Colen has been involved in the design and permitting of multiple recent development projects at Twin Farms Resort in Barnard, VT including new units denoted as the “Treehouses”. Colen is involved in wastewater, water, and stormwater design and permitting as well as construction, administration for this project.

Swenson Granite Quarry, Woodbury, VT

Colen was involved in the design and permitting of a new two-way access road to serve the existing Swenson Granite Quarry. This project included design of the new roadway, a stream crossing, stormwater design and permitting, and erosion control design and permitting.
