Recent Project Experience

Jay Peak Resort, Jay, VT

John served as the Senior Engineer for the $300M Jay Peak Resort expansion project, which included site planning, design, permitting and direct oversight of TCE’s construction administration program.  TCE’s work at Jay included survey, planning, site and utility design and roadway design.  The expansion included condominiums, town homes, hotels, and amenities such as a golf club house, an ice rink and an indoor water park.  John worked closely with the development team at Jay to provide a full array of engineering services from the initial planning phases through final construction plans and construction observation.  Under John’s direction our on-site presence during construction ensured permit compliance on multiple fast track projects.

Smuggler’s Notch Resort, Jeffersonville, VT

John was the lead engineer and construction administrator for the resort’s major water system expansion, which included design, permitting, operation and maintenance manuals, fire protection and reservoirs.  He designed the resorts robust metering program that has saved the resort a significant amount of cost, and continues to provide consulting services to the resort. Most recently, John designed a major replacement system to their surface water treatment system.

Casavant Outlook & Parc Terrace, Winooski, VT

John was the Senior Engineer for design, permitting and construction administration for this intense redevelopment of two sites off of East Allan. The two projects involved close to 100 residential apartment units with municipal services.  This high-profile location had numerous design and permit challenges, including utilities and layout for and one of the busiest roads in Vermont.
