Albertini Residential Subdivision

TCE was hired by the Albertini family to assist them with a 5 lot residential subdivision on Pleasant Valley Road in Underhill, VT. The main challenge of this project was to design a safe access road with proper sight distance. TCE completed a traffic study during the design process that included sight distance measurements and a speed study.

The access road was moved south and the banks along Pleasant Valley Road were significantly cut back to provide greater sight distance. TCE also created a color rendering to depict the pre- and post-construction access road and associated earthwork, which allowed for members of the Development Review Board, the Selectboard and the public to get a better sense of the finished product. Construction is nearly complete and it looks great!
